Dick wrote:It seems Skillz will be unify the belts. He hold two titles and can get the third one by default (OBW is vacant and skillz is ranked number 1). Red Viper hold the other title. Lets see if skillz can unify!

Hopefully, he won't just sit on the titles and pick and choose unification matches against certain people only. That degrades the meaning of the unification process.

I held the OBC title for a few weeks and defended it a bunch of times. If you were ranked, I gave you a shot if you wanted it.

Skillz seems like a really solid, upstanding guy, so I don't think he's going to duck defenses in fear of losing either title.

casa has all of the above

IMO, he's beaten every southpaw he's faced.

What do you mean negative boxers? Did you watch his two fights with Pacquiao, a much faster and powerful fighter than Casamayor? Most people had him winning both fights despite getting dropped many times.

Casamayor looked bad against Katsidis (who was just easily beaten by Juan Diaz) before he scored the lucky KO. He also looked horrible against Santa Cruz. In fact, most people had him losing just about every round in that fight. And this was against someone that is really inferior to Juan Manuel Marquez in the skills department.

Perhaps in his prime he would've beaten JMM but next Saturday JMM will win a convincing decision.
EDDIE54 wrote:Yeh Casmayor has skillz but i think Marquez will finish him!

I hope you're right. However, I'm more inclined to pick Marquez via decision since no one has ever stopped Casamayor.
I'll be pulling for Marquez also. For years I've been trying to convince anyone that would listen that Marquez is one of the greatest technical fighters of all-time. Despite the losses his record indicates, I've never seen anyone really beat the guy.

I thought he was robbed against Freddie Norwood, Chris John, and in both Pacquiao bouts.

I can't wait for his fight against Casamayor. It's a dangerous bout because Casamayor is a tricky southpaw with a little pop and it'll be Marquez's lightweight debut.

I didnt know barrack smoked.

I don''t know if he does now but he did before.

I like a candidate that keeps it real.

They're not going to give up, they'll follow you for several minutes to convince you that you need a taxe-hotel-phone-cream-whatever in thaiglish instead (which isin't really understandable though) first.

One even kept asking me if i wanted a girl to come to my hotel for a "massage" (the " " are important).

Thought it would be hardcore and it sure is lol.

So how was the massage?

To do this:

And to have really cool sounds.

Why wouldn't you ask Mikkel first?

Thanks to you the game has now been shut down.

"I would like to try to unify some titles and perhaps try to even make it to super champion. This being said I would also like to offer you gentlemen change to do same.

"don't you think we would like that chance ourselves?."

Yeah and that is exactly why I offered that change in my first post which you obviously did not read with thought. Just for the record I am fully willing to put my own title on the line first (against you if you want to).

"Best thing to do is to win at least 3 titles or wait until only two people hold the gold before asking a question like that."

I do not really understand your logic here. How is any of us supposed to win more than 1 title without boxing each others (called unification matches)? In order for any of us to win more than 1 title there needs to be unification match/matches between existing title holders (you, me, Redneck, Salvador) which brings us back to my firsts post on this thread. See there is no such option as to win 3 or 2 titles without actually having unification matches provided that we all manage to keep our respective belts.

Of course we can all just sit on top of our belts ducking each other waiting for one of us to eventually lose his belt against someone slightly "easier" and then go after that title like bunch of sharks.

In Nigel's defense, I think he thought you meant that you simply wanted to try to unify by getting a crack at our titles.

I'd be willing to fight for each other's titles. The standard rule would have to apply though. We'd have to beat each other twice in a row to keep the other's title. For example: If I beat you for yours, I'd have to rematch you. If I win the rematch, I keep it. If you win the rematch, you keep it. Then we move on and do the same thing with my title.

You should get to it quick though because right now I'm very vulnerable. I still haven't quite adjusted to the recent modification.
Dick wrote:Its basic but I get the job done. I took the belt from Viper and defended it 34 times.
Pls explain how I have fuked (?) people over?

Perhaps because Viper is another player that relies on speed, power, and rhythm, all attributes that are nullified via the slow connection. Have you ever thought about that?

I've no doubt that Viper would beat you in a 5 fight series if you were fighting on a normal connection.
Dick wrote:Dear Mr. Obama,

If it was possible to upgrade I would be the first one to do it, but I cannot. I live in Bolivia and here it doesnt get any faster. It sux, I know. But hey I can be beaten with lag too, proven by many fighters. I called out Yacoob but I know he will not accept my offer. He knows who his daddy is.

Regards, DD

The problem isn't whether or not you can be defeated on that lag. The issue is, who wants to even try under those conditions? Secondly, you have an advantage over most because 99% of the regular players play on a regular connection. I know I personally don't want to sit there and pick and peck for 2 hours. Let's not kid ourselves. It's not the same when the fight is fought under the slow connection conditions. It almost feels like one is fighting in mud. And this sucks for good fighters like Yacoob who rely on speed and good boxing skills.

Win or lose, I enjoy playing this game under the normal conditions. You should really trying to seeing it this way instead.
Fatny wrote:No it's the "High Ping Title", win it within the rules or chase one of the other titles, there's 4 of them anyway

I disagree. Mikkel should set a minimum requirement. Otherwise, it's pretty much a pointless title. You say not to worry about it because it's only one title, but now this guy is calling out Yacoob looking to unify. Plain and simple. Unification and any other types of significant stuff should be left to individuals with regular connections.

For as long as I've played this game, people with slow connections have never been considered top players. Further, every time one of these players talks smack and later upgrades to a regular connection, they get embarrased and reality finally sets in for them.

Boon is probably a really good guy but he needs to realize that he's never going to be taken seriously until he upgrades. Until then, if Mikkel decides that there shouldn't be a minimum ping requirement, Boon needs to stay in his room and stop calling others out.

As for everyone else that hates fighting anyone with a bad connection, the best thing for you to do is to never fight them. This typically encourages a bad connection fighter to get with the times and upgrade once and for all.
Most people don't even think he beat Marquez both times they fought. At 135, Pacquiao will have reached his limit. Guys like Campbell and Guzman will more than likely prove to be too much for him. A star can only go up in weight so far before he looks ordinary and can't take the incoming from much bigger guys with a punch.

I don't need to waste my time with that.

It was the best way for me at the time to get my point across to you Ty. It's me Salvador, bro. I couldn't remember my forum password info so I created this name under the ID that I've been under since I came back two weeks ago. Good to see you again. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Had a feeling it was you. Recognized your writing style . Welcome back

Thanks.

How have you been? You seem to be pretty busy these days.
My apologies if this is a redundant question. I just couldn't find an answer digging through some of the old threads. Thanks.
