Vote on Red Viper becoming a HOF'er

i was talking to a few people on OB and we were taking about why red viper has not become a HOF'er. it says in the rules that theres a vote on who goes in. I think red viper should go in, he has won many titles and have beat a lot of top players and HOF'ers. he has over 150 defenses(cmon thats alot of defenses). Vote "yes" or "no"

No. And let me explain why. Red Viper never dominated the game like other HOF´ers. He was never on top for a period of time. Yes he can beat anyone out there except maybe for Fatny, but he doesnt dominate them over a longer period of time, like other HOF´ers.

Having said that, Red Viper is a great guy with a very recoignizable and exciting style. I really like the way he fights and I like his dedication to this game. What I also appreciate is that he fights everybody out there. He is not afraid to defend his title against top players or laggers. He doesnt duck anyone. Also he is probably THE most recognizable fighter out there, but not HOF.

I vote no. He can beat anyone, but anyone can beat him. He loses stupidly and has never been recognized as #1 (AFAIK). He can't defend (ingame) properly and gets caught off guard regularly. He doesn't use any tactics, he just fights and hasn't improved much over the years whereas other people are surpassing him because they use their heads better in fights.

So, unfortunately, no, I don't think he should be a HOF'er.

No but i'd say yes to Vargas, he's always been really good and is always up there in the rankings right after the HOF guys giving them hard fights and sometimes beating them. Right now there's sal, so vargas is #2 (well i'm guessing, haven't been there for a while). When it was me and Larry, vargas was #3 and giving us the hardest fights.

I remember plenty of hard and close fights vs vargas going the distance, but i don't recall a single fight vs viper being close and going past the first few rounds. I might just have had his number though.

I think like viper he's a bit 1 dimensional and crumbles if his offensive A plan doesn't work, and a too unpatient, but his skills are much higher and comparable to anyone in the HOF. When he's motivated he's a pain in the ass and gives a difficult fight to everyone.

Vargas for HOF imo.

I would like to be Vipers promoter though. With his action packed I ko you or you ko me style he is every promoters dream. Viper is never boring and is always good for an exciting fight.

And no, vargas not for the HOF either. As Fatny wrote he is always second or third best, never dominating.

Well me i don't think in terms of "domination" and i don't care about it, it's way too subjective, i think in terms of skills and how people do against top players. When Larry had retired vargas was #2 right after me for a long time probably a few months, giving me hard fights and crushing basically everyone.

So yeah #2, but if you removed me of the equation it would have been a domination.

I also don't care and don't give any credit for titles, you can win 250 titles but who are you getting them from? Is it a good indicator that someone is a top player? I don't think so. Constantly giving hard fights and winning rounds against HOF guys is a clear indicator though.

Vargas is on the same level that Unstop in my opinion!

So if you do good against top players, winning rds and all, you can be considered HOF Fatny? Come on. Imho you need to beat the top players to be even considered for HOF.
