i feel this would benifit many older players as the older players I.E over the age of 20 have a job have a income which they can afford to give a bit to mikkel for a wonderfu lservice.
but this leaves out the yungens who in most cases for a game should be encouraged to play OB with a price tag the market is reduced.
you may say it'sa only 90Pence but thats still money that some people dont have.
i would say that ob 2d stays free and 3d goes pay.
with free 'seasons' for peopel who want to try the game out.
i would also like to say what mike has been saying over and over and over again. go to boxing forums and bomb there websites with advertisement. or at least incouragem, ent and links.
has anyone heard of vivi? it's a online boxing sim which is nice but isnt a game. how they got that crowd was going to boxing forums and making a thread saying "has anyone played this before"?
nice call on burley. in his day he was the pre roy jones
i think the langfrod record is blown out of proportion. he does have 300 fights but he wanst fightign owrld class fighter everyday. defintly one of the p4p greats but i wouldnt thikn he would do well against a more modern fighter
reaper you are a tw@ to think that this is computer generated...in the late 60's...they couldnt get a computer to have microsoft paint for fuck sake let alone create a visual image.
the computer aspect came from a form saying who was the greatest heavywieght, which they created a computer especially for it. it was very basic back then even. Boxing Manager TM has a more sophisticated engine than that.
those to guys are marcinao and ali fightign this was during ali's marine stunt and marcinao's retirement. both work hard just to look good on camera.
also i woudl liek to mention why this had so much hype was becuase marciano and ali were both unbeaten heavywieght champions
Im keeping Floyd n Hatton in my sig and adding this.
RED WHITE N BLUE!!!!!!!!
(not being racist or anything...but ppl keep saying americans have nothing left in boxing and i dispise tht)
oh yes tito trinidad...former welterwieght and very good light middlewieght very flabby at midldeiweght and now fighting at a catch wieght at 170 pounds....
147-170
roy jones beat a guy who has retired and hasnt shown anywant for a fight until now ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
goldenboy88 wrote:It would be tough to say. If Ali came out like he did the night he fought George Foreman then he would win. He was untouchable that night. I think it would be a hell of a fight either way.
the reaosn why george foreman was beaten was becuase ali was TOUCHABLE until george pumped out all his stamina.
defintly ali. i havnt seen a good boxer-mover vs tyson maybe good boxers or good movers but never on the scale of ali.
he has the handspeed to confuze and the awkwardness to get ou tof the way of tyson and also counter him.
i also think ali's conditioning would play the major factor.
ali could take so much punishment, he had great chin great fitness and most importantly heart.
the early rounds will go to tysons bull rushes and workrate and combo's. and possibly daze muhhamad. but ali would get on his bike in the mid round starting about round 5 or 6 where he would jab and move getting out of tysons attacks. tyson then would fall apart when ali pours on the pressure and gets out of the way of everything that tyson throws.
a mix of rope-a-dope and flab-slab will stop tyson i feel.
my logic for this is that tyson couldnt out work him nor could he knock him out nor could he bully him. so i think a break down. lennox caught a very old and ancient tyson but what we saw was a man who even through great punishment would take shots all night.
ive also fought reaper...and god that style has changed he a pure slugger it seems. thats a complete turn around from what he was liek half a year ago.
he was a pure rope a dope specialist and in that he wouldnt throw any punches just block for the whole fight and throw a random left hook one at a time
