We need to get this game out there more.

This is a great game, one of the best ive played on PC
With the competition,community and everything else.

Bringing in new people would bring a spark that would make Mikkel update the game more and get more active with 3D and things.

So if u have any ideas or can do anything with like Videos(if u can make them),if u have a good forum to promote on, any ad site, or anything like that,POST THEM HERE.

If we do this as a GROUP effort we could enhance this game for ourselves and new members alike, and who knows if good things happen maybe old player will migrate back.

And don't just put random stupid ideas like new character animations (i.e. trunks,gloves) cuz they might come if the game does better.

I Guess u didnt get what i said...i said for 2D and then they'll be here for the future:3D,while Mikkel is finishing it up they can be getting used 2 this game and community..

That why i suggested the Vid put it on youtube and ppl might get interested and curious to play it and see whats it about

Making videos on youtube and sites like that won't get OB many hits because:
1. There aren't that many people who have the random urge to play a boxing game online and people have to search 'Online Boxing' for the videos to show.
2. Of those that find the video, most of them do not understand the graphics/gameplay balance - It's a 2D game so few people will want to even look at it.
3. Of those who do like it, a lot of them can be too lazy to write the address (or c&p) in the bar even when they like the game.

So I would wait until 3D is completely stable, has good models and has all of the features of 2D and start promoting 3D instead. If people who visit 2D from the vids, they may run into 3D and not like the graphics or something stupid like that and never give it a second look.. worst case scenario, they'll tell others that it's rubbish and nobody plays. >_>

2.Put the site address in the youtube video description so they can just click it and go.
3.3D wont be out for like another year, so why wait?

1. That's my point.. 90% of the OB population is still not many people. Imagine all those who decided not to play.
2. Fair enough.
3. Well my #3 kind of couters your #3 already. We have to wait because people will think 3D is not being worked on, even though it's not a full game, and then they may not come back and so we have lost players. I don't think people want to see potential in a game, they want a game that's there and ready to be played.

I say, Make a commercial and put on t.v

I'll just reply to this post as I'm not making the same reply to three posts.

I have offered to make a video, I have all the software needed but I can't record the footage until I get a new pc (quite soon now actually) so if you guys want to record the footage into .avi format and send it me then I will put it together and add some info/effects/music etc.

Either way I'll make one for the new year even if I haven't released another one upto then as there are a few different videos I want to make for OB and I don't mind spending some time on it.
