Well when you came back and was asking people for a fight I offered you one and you ignored it. You make it so blatently obvious you duck, yet you still try and defend yourself, you are seriously deluded.

Anyone know why the allignment HTML code doesn't work?. I tried to space the numbers out (which was a pain) but the allign code didn't work.
Can a mod move this thread to the history of online boxing forum?, thanks.

Damn do you live on these forums?. I did type in my post before I deleted it "I bet I'll get a response in 3 minutes" and low and behold I did. Whenever someone posts a message about you, you reply straight away, get some fresh air man.
You seem to think you have achieved something based on somebody's opinion, that's all it is an opinion, but the facts are you got there by padding against noobs and average fighters and you haven't achieved anything. Once you break into the top ten of soemthing that's worth something like Most title wins, defences etc, then you can boast about how great you are.

I wouldn't worry about it goldenboy, I'd say 99% of OB knows he isn't even top 15 material and hand picked his opponents to get high rankings. I don't remember him beating people like me, Larry or HTF to get those points he protects for dear life.
I find it strange he thinks so highly of himself, because no one else does, he has achieved nothing, yet he somehow thinks he is a B class fighter, which in my opinion is a load of waffle, I'd say C at best. He hasn't won/defended a title, hasn't consistently beaten a top vet, he also ducks top fighters and has no respect from just about everyone.

I know this should be posted in the History Of Online Boxing forum, but I just want people to read this thread and help me with some corrections.
I had the idea to create this thread by seeing these top ten lists and people stating what class of fighter they think they are, so this thread is designed to eliminate opinion and just base things on fact.
I know that some people should be included somewhere, but I can't check the records of everyone who has ever played the game, but if any of you feel you should be included just post here the username and fighter name of all your accounts and I'll check and include you if you are right.
If anyone has any suggestions on the lists please also post here and if anyone wants to do some research and try and find people that should be included somewhere that would be very much appreciated.
I'll update this thread every month or so.

Becoming champion (when there was only one title) and beating vets within a month of playing the game. I'm still quite proud of that.

I agree with the fact the game has moved away from being a simulation, it's definately more arcadey.
I've actually seen people deliberatley standing off trying to hit the strong right and big hook, a complete change in their style, just to exploit the new change. There is very little skill needed to knock someone out now with the capability of hitting someone while crouched.

Tito agrees to Jones joust
Don King sets up January 'superfight'
Former undefeated three-weight champion Felix Trinidad has been coaxed out of retirement to fight Roy Jones Jnr early next year.
The Puerto Rican jumped at the chance to take on the four-time king from Pensacola when approached by promoter Don King.
The 'superfight' will take place at 170lbs, fully 10lb more than former welterweight Trinidad has ever taken into the ring.
In contrast Jones Jnr, who tipped the scales at 226lbs when taking the WBA heavyweight title from John Ruiz in 2003, has not fought at 170 in more than 11 years.
"It's a unique, special event that this sport needs," Jones said. "If you can't put it on the line for this, then you can't put it on the line for anything.
"This is the type of thing you put it on the line for. The sport needs another megafight and that's what this is."
That said, both fighters are arguably past their best.
Jones, 38, was long-considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world before losing three fights in succession, including twice to Antonio Tarver.
And his 34-year-old opponent was inactive for over two years before returning to beat Ricardo Mayorga in 2004, but Tito 'retired' a year later following a heavy points defeat to Winky Wright.
The fight will take place on January 26, 2008, at a venue to be confirmed

Seriously you guys need to chill (not all of you a select few), it's only a game.
I'm perfectly chilled Donny and yet again you use the patronising phrase of "it's only a game", I know it is, the aim was to make a point and make a suggestion, isn't that the very purpose this forum is supposed to be used for?.

Ohhh this one is funny, Ray Johnson will testify to that. Reaper and I was online for about an hour, he had fights I had fights (ducking me as usual), I had a fight with Ray, Got knocked down a few times with reaper watching, after the fight He went offline came onine with Diego and challenged me saying this was his training account. Obviously testing to see how good I am, if he beat me he would go on with his Reaper to get my points. And as usual the guy STILL tries to deny it.

The situation on OB is an absolute joke. I don't think some of these people realise it's a game and the whole idea is to have fun.
I only fight in the mornings due to connection problems, but I've seen enough to come to the conclusion that OB is full of padders, duckers and point huggers.
Since Fatny vacated, I get something like 2 challenges a day, I challange everyone else in the room and no one excepts yet five seconds later they fight a bum. I've also noticed lack of rematches when some lucky noob gets a juicy amount of points. Even people I've fought a million times before and who I thought were decent people are avoiding top players and are acting like point thirsty volchers.
The straw that broke the camels back is when I've noticed people making a few names and padding their way up the rankings with the obvious aim to fight themselves for the title, or protect what rank they do have so that they can fight themselves to get more points.
So Mikkel I have a suggestion. Let's be honest here, because of this blatent exploitation of the point system (yet again) it's obvious that the rankings aren't a true refelction on who should be NO 1 and 2 contenders. So Why not just have HTF and Larry have a best out of 3 fight tourney for each title?. They are tried and tested champions, obviously the two best on OB at the moment and worthy champions and more importantly than that they are honest players.
This would also eliminate the problem of someone winning the title and defending against a noob once a day and get OB back to where it should be before these volchers saw a golden opportunity to be assholes.

Larry Holmes wrote:I think that he realized that he couldn't be on top forever so he quit while he was ahead. It's stupid because he might have been able to stay on top forever.
OR..he quit his titles so he can regain them all to become 2 time super champ.
Anyway it's weak to leave the game like that not even giving an explanation.
My guess is that he quit without saying anything to see what kind of reaction/attention he would get and to set up a "glorious return".
Like what HTF said, whoever wins the titles isn't the true champ, would have been nice to of had another shot and to also see HTF have another go. He was building up a head of steam and was getting close to his peak. Shame.

After 6000 odd fights I'm kinda reluctant to learn how to fight differently
And anyway, of course you will like the change because you probably think it's a way of getting cheap wins over people you would normally lose to.
