"John represents the renaissance of OB. John stepped up and filled the vacuum Fatny left behind. Not only his skills are amazing, also his dedication to keep this game interesting and alive. I was there when he first won the title, I was watching over his shoulder when he bullied all competition, I was there when he became a HOF´er. I may not be a great fighter myself, but I do have eye for talent. John is something special, I told him right after he won his first title. John is the spark that became a flame that turned into a devastating fire. Apart from being a great guy he never stepped down from a challenge and always looked to square off against OB´s best to further improve his skills. Many HOF´ers made short comebacks during the year John reigned OB, only to be knocked out by Big Bad John." - Dick E. Boon
"The thing with John is that he's just so extremely accurate, both in offense and in defense. There's some punches I consider myself a master of, like the small hook and the long upper. Well they're useless against John no matter how well you throw them, he just keeps blocking 90% of them and hurting you in the process. Speaking of which...if he hurts you (and he will), you better move your head a lot because he also happens to be one of the best finishers i've ever seen. Basically if you're not extremely good AND creative, you'll end up on the floor. A fine addition to the hall of fame indeed." - Fatny |

There are a few fighters out there that can beat me (and I can beat them): Vargas, Yacoob, Profs, Fatny and last but certainly not least yourself.

Congrats already John! I´ve seen you have had some fights in the last couple of days. Maybe we can fight for the belt when we meet online. It would be an honor to defend the belt against a classy champ like you, a future HOF´er. If you beat me, please be a little more active

Hes definitely a future HOF, but Sal's bullshit rules had destroyed many people's chances and it shows a lot of favoritism. So, I have an idea that I could make a shrine for people that are not in the HOF but definitely deserved to be honored.

I think current HOFers just don't respect guys now because they faced nowhere near the constant competition as they have..
Much different to dominate a game w/ 20 players..like 7 good
Than about 100 with like 30 good 10 VERY good.

thats a good point and i think you are absolutely right with that. I think that is the reason why the HOFer make it so difficult to the FutureHOFer. But what can the F-HOFer do about that? Nothing.
We both agree to this Skillz...but what is the result of it? HOF is absolutely obsolete. Thats the result.

Ive been playing for like 8 years now. And yes there used to be more players online, but let´s not exagerate, it was not that back then it was all the time FULL of top players, that´s nonsense. There were more good and active players, yes.
By not letting anyone new in the HOF the old skool HOFers protect their own status, Ive said it all along. It´s an old and endless discussion.

yes. i play OB since 2005 and most of the time there where 5-10 players online playing the game. I dont know how many there used to be before 2005. I dont know who is right with the amount of players before 2005 to be fair. Today you count 3-5 players playing the game if you come online. So there is most of the time not THAT big difference if you compare 2005-2010. Just this SOMETIMES you get online and there is NO player online sux nowadays.
To get back to the HOF-thing. You are also right with what you say there boon. But i really really really dont understand why you guys give this old tarts that much respect sitting with their thick stomachs in the HOF like the old romans in their time of decadence. I really dont give a shit about the HOF and every single guy who is listed in this HOF. For me they are just ignorants with average skills describing theirself into the HOF while it was possible.
Guys come on...raise your scottish skirts and show them your asses (lol...sounds a little gay. But you know what i mean.
For me the HOF are Red Viper, boon, Ken Norton, Trpche even little edder. And i think i forgot many other up-to-date HOFer...sorry for that. I think all of this guys deserve the Fame of this HOF. The guys in the written HOF just clowns living in their own world and giving a shit about the breakdown of OB2D. NO, no, no....RAISE YOUR FISTS NEW HOFer!
